Green Mountain Launches Residential Service in New Territories, Includes Nest Bundle

Green Mountain Energy has begun offering residential electric service at Niagara Mohawk, NYSEG, Rochester Gas & Electric, and Central Hudson Gas & Electric in New York.

In each service area, Green Mountain is offering the following products:

• 12 Months Fixed w/ Nest Thermostat, 100% National Wind
• 12 Months Fixed, 100% Wind
• 12 Months Fixed, 100% Wind and Solar
• 6 Months Fixed, 100% Wind
• 6 Months Fixed, 100% Wind and Solar
• Monthly Variable, 100% Wind
• Monthly Variable, 100% Wind and Solar

The Nest Thermostat product includes the Nest Thermostat for no additional charge, plus a $50 discount at Green Mountain's online energy-efficient product store.

For each of the products with a solar component, Green Mountain will make a monthly $2.50 affinity contribution to the Green Mountain Sun Club to support solar energy donations to non-profits.

Additionally, for enrolling onto any of the products, Green Mountain will make a $1 affinity contribution to the Green Mountain Sun Club.

Each of the fixed products includes a $100 early termination fee.

At NiMo (Albany area), pricing for each product is as follows (¢/kWh):
