Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Services
The USGBC Energy and Atmosphere Green Power Credit allows LEED buildings to earn 1 to 6 points for providing a percentage of the building’s electricity from renewable resources. Point allocations vary depending on which version of LEED guidelines the building is following, as well as project type.
RECs are a straight forward and cost effective way to maximize Green Power Points under LEED, while significantly reducing a project’s environmental impact. Purchasers stay with their current electricity provider and do not have to install any specialized equipment.
