Vice President, Commercial Services Northeast

Location: New York


Position Summary: The Northeast VP is responsible for managing and meeting all C&I P&L goals for the region.  In doing so, this person will oversee all aspects of the business including customer service, sales operations, and the pricing desk.  The Northeast VP will partner with the Sales VP in ensuring sales growth required to meet the P&L plan and support any necessary sales initiatives.  This includes day-to-day P&L management, acquisition budgets, commission payment plans, sales forecasting and group results reporting.  In addition, this role is responsible for all management and oversight of the pricing desk including the pricing quote process, contract structure and pricing / margin accuracy and deal verification. The Northeast VP will also work closely with the customer operations team and retail energy operations teams to achieve maximum customer service.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all regional P&L activities
  • Day-to-day management of the pricing desk with regards to all broker assignments, sales strategies, contract management issues, analyst responsibilities, etc.
  • To work professionally with the sales support teams (pricing, billing, credit, legal, etc) to ensure compliance with both internal processes and external requirements that ensure customer satisfaction.
  • To manage new product implementation via legal, pricing, customer service, and marketing/sales.
  • Partner with Sales VP to ensure acquisition and sales commissions budgets are appropriate and effective in delivering sales goals


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10 years of energy and/or sales experience.
  • Proven ability to close large/national energy contracts.
  • Ability to travel 50% or more of the time.
